So, I was going to say something about how British comedy doesn't often resonate on this side of the pond but, after watching this trailer a second time (Yeah. How often do you do that?), I rather like it. It's still too cerebral for American audiences but I was mesmerized.
The humor in 'Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa' is so dry it snaps like a fresh tea cracker -- bland but oh so yummy. It's like one of those modern paintings -- you know it's well done but you're not sure why and, despite the fact you could turn the painting upside down and you wouldn't know the difference, you find the more you look at it the more you appreciate it.
Been playing in England for a while. They say it's excellent.
