Next YA Batter Up

A while back I ran a list of YA movies, adapted from books or otherwise, that failed. So many tries die at the box office. Other than 'Twilight' and 'The Hunger Games' this stuff is getting quite the bad reputation.

Here's a tease of the latest attempt, 'The Maze Runner', which at first blush doesn't impress.

Set in a post-apocalyptic world, young Thomas is deposited in a community of boys after his memory is erased, soon learning they're all trapped in a maze that will require him to join forces with fellow "runners" for a shot at escape.

Set in a post-apocalyptic world... How many of those are there?
