Meet The Real Dom

New US trailer for 'Dom Hemingway' tips its hand. The movie is 'Filth'-esque to be sure, but it's really a story about a man trying to pick up being a father again after spending twelve years in prison.

Really this, along with previous trailers that painted Hemingway as a simple slime ball, works well to sell the movie. I love the reveal when it turns out the soundtrack song is being sung by Hemingway's daughter (that technique always works). Don't think I've seen Jude Law play a character quite as compelling.

Good trailer. I'm in. I was in before, sure, but now I'm really in.

Self-Conscious Slapstick -- or -- Filth-Lite

Could be a fun rental if you're into the faux crime genre.
