'Boxtrolls' Trailer
Don't know what to make of 'Boxtrolls'. Kind of hard to look at. Not the stop-motion, of course, which is enchanting, but those ugly little trolls scampering about.. If you look closely you catch a glimpse of cute under all that oddness, but you have to wonder if it's worth the trouble.
Still, Laika has a way with story. I especially liked 'ParaNorman' though it's pretty much a tie with 'Coraline', which were both so good it pretty much makes 'The Boxtrolls' must-see.

More Laika Magic: The Boxtrolls
Love this studio. 'ParaNorman' and 'Coraline' are two of the best animated movies I've seen. 'The Boxtrolls' has the same charm and energy.
Due next Thanksgiving.
