Even The TV Ads Look Good

Direction by David Michôd shines through. He's in control but allows space to breathe.

Robert Pattinson is good -- certainly better than I would have thought. He seems like a different actor than we got to know in Twilight.

However, it's Guy Pearce that really shines. He inhabits this character so convincingly.

Can't wait to see 'The Rover'.

I'm Convinced

Everything I've seen from 'The Rover' convinces. David Michod handles this well. Guy Pearce, as usual, brings it and so does Robert Pattinson, who has nothing Twilight-y about him.
