I still don't feel much of a connection with Reese Witherspoon, but I think she feels a connection with this material, and that's enough for me. I probably have more confidence in Jean-Marc Vallée's (Dallas Buyers Club) direction.
I'm on the fence. 'Wild' could go either way. I'm impressed by the trailer, though. Considering the depth of Cheryl Strayed's saga, I hope they did her story justice. With so much to work with, this movie should get to people.

Great poster for 'Wild'. Somehow, this does what I would have thought difficult for a story about a woman taking a long walk -- it's compelling, gets the point across with just one picture, and makes you care.
Curious how Reese Witherspoon will be in this. I've never connected with her portrayals and that will be needed to hook an audience with this story.
