This trailer has gotten almost 2 million YouTube views in, like, 8 hours. I don't think I've ever seen numbers that high. Usually, for a movie like this, getting over 100k views the first day is good, great in fact. Most movies that go on to turn a profit score in the range of 10-30k views the first day.
That puts 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' squarely in the white-hot monster hit everything else needs to get out of the way category.
