All in all, looking watered down compared to the first 'Purge'. Nice concept, going off on a tangent.

Other thing is, this is really popular. There's little hate -- in fact, people are enthused.

The other other thing is, this very scenario (or something like it) will probably come to pass in the not-too-distant future. As such, 'The Purge: Anarchy' is getting more traction than you'd expect for this kind of movie, and all that non-hate is probably fear masquerading as respect.

ps -- I went with this trailer because, even though the footage is exactly the same as the new domestic trailer that just rolled out, this one is better because it's in German.
