From the creator of Ripley, Patricia Highsmith, (The Talented Mr. Ripley with Matt Damon remains one of my favorites. Also with Jude Law, Gwyneth Paltrow, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Cate Blanchett -- one of the chewiest stories. I'll have to watch again soon).
Love this kind of flick. When people are hiding something about themselves it plays real. That's the way we are. That's what Highsmith wrote about. That's what we deal with daily. It's a fiction that's real.
Looking forward to seeing how Hossein Amini (writer of Drive, another movie with an hidden identity motif) handles this material in his feature debut.
