Watching this clip I can't help feel the Transformers thing has run its course. Are there enough kids around who want to see this brand of hokey?  Haven't movies like 'Godzilla' and 'Interstellar' reset expectations, especially when it comes to tone? Is anyone going to want to sit through two hours of this?

I'll bet 'Age of Extinction' does better overseas than here. That, of course, just about guarantees more Transformers movies, but it wouldn't paint a pretty picture.

Wahlberg's breathless acting... Of course, that's due to hammy direction by Michael Bay, but the point is the whole movie will play like that.

Feels so 90s. Somebody make these aged movies extinct.
