I have a very cool idea for a bounty hunter thriller/drama. The genre doesn't have the best reputation, but this flick -- "Jump Trackers" -- has a beautiful throughline.
Dream cast includes Natalie Portman, Keira Knightley, Morgan Freeman, Clint Eastwood, and Charlie Sheen. Also seeking Tom Sizemore cause, just so perfect.
Proposed budget: $51,409...so give these guys a heads up if you see them.
James T. Kirk (commander, Starfleet [this sector])

Morgan Freeman Unboxing Video
Watch only if you have plenty of time to waste -- or -- if you're very busy.
If you don't have much time -- or -- if you're not really bored, this isn't funny in the least. If you're in a rush this will be offensive.
However, if you don't have much spare time and you have lots to do, but you're not busy at the moment, and you're looking for a diversion, but then intend to get back right to work -- this is really effing funny.
On the other hand, if you have a lot of time on your hands and wish you were busier, don't watch this.
If the above has confused you, do not watch the video -- you won't understand it. However, if the above makes perfect sense, you will almost certainly find this video rewarding. (If the previous two sentences confused you, you're probably easily amused, in which case the video is perfect).
If you're still reading this horseshit your break is over and you'll have to wait till later to watch the video.
If you feel I've wasted your time then this video will seem too high-brow. If you feel I haven't wasted your time, you're the type that gets taken advantage of a lot and the video will probably seem innocuous yet interesting.
If all this has pissed you off you will definitely enjoy this video. If it hasn't pissed you off, you won't care either way -- it's your call.

'Transcendance' Clip
The clip is the first 20 seconds of this featurette. (The rest is fairly boiler-plate hard-sell). Not getting too much from 'Transcendance' -- coming off like a rent-sometime -- but this scene is good.
Morgan Freeman, as always, lends credibility, believability. Hell, in this clip, even Johnny Depp seems like a real person -- he's always so long in the face, which I understand is a needed thing for a lot of movie roles, what with all that drama sloshing around, but...
The performances, a killer slick set, and the fact we already have voice-recognition and synthesized speech, makes the artificial intelligence go over better, gives the scene more resonance than you'd expect, and makes suspension of disbelief go down easier. A needed thing, cause the premise makes me choke. I feel like they've broken some basic tenet of science fiction story structure.
All that said, if the whole movie makes me feel the way this clip does I'll dig 'Transcendance'.
