I'm not fully convinced by Showtime's latest original, but being that cable/internet movies are becoming the new standard for quality motion picture entertainment, I'm still enthusiastic for 'Penny Dreadful' (great title).
There's little story content to chew on in the first teasers but the production hit its marks: Atmospheric, check. Good production value, check. Blood on the floor from an unknown source, check. People with English accents, check. Great dialogue, well...almost.
So, yes, I'll watch.
